Ofek-19 Deployment Broadens Israel's Spaceborne Observation and Regional Defense Capabilities

Israel has expanded its strategic orbital infrastructure following the deployment of its advanced synthetic and optical surveillance satellite, Ofek-19. Defense experts noted that the asset strengthens the nation's persistent coverage capabilities across the entire Middle East, monitoring critical security developments in real time.

Engineered by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) in coordination with the Directorate of Defense Research & Development (DDR&D), the platform highlights the strong dual-use intersection of Israeli defense-tech and high-resolution space observation systems.
